I meandered into the kitchen this morning, just in time to watch Isabelle upend a vase of fabric flowers that had rested on the corner of a kitchen counter for almost two years. The vase hit the corner of a bookshelf and shattered. Issie promptly hid and Ebenezer reveled in the chaos. As Murphy would have it, I was already running late. A handyman was coming to install a light fixture in half an hour, and Ebenezer was scheduled to get his claws clipped shortly after that. My mother and grandmother would be mortified to know that I had fake flowers in my posession. They've been dumpstered.
Wouldn't you know it. I don't have any real greens either. My mom still has some plants that she had when I was a kid. Cute pictures! Jodi
ReplyDeleteYeah, things like that always happen when you have the least amount of time to deal with them. My mom had an amazing green thumb but I definately did not inherit it.
